Indian Chief

4th Grade blew me away with these!  We looked at Native American paintings with feathered headdresses.  I told them the symbolism of the feather and we discussed how hard it would have been to earn enough feathers to actually make a headdress.  We also talked about how the headdress was a work of art in itself.
